ABOUT ME

I am a rural surgeon for past 28 years, where the facilities of anesthesist and pediatrician, blood bank facilities are only available from a distance of 100 kms. Running a 15 beded hospital where myself and my wife Dr. Renu Chandra is working.

Our main focus is how to work in limited availablety of skilled persons.

RESEARCH

For last decade clampless, small Incision abdomenal hysteractomy, keeping in view to avoid any injury to the urator and in this vision, i'm successful too... Likewise considered as very minor surgery in growing toe nale has been revised with remarkable results and cure is within 10-15 days after operation. Doing open mesh repair hernia with local anesthesia where patient stay time is 12 hours has been done successfully for last 5 years.

HOSPITAL

So far the facilities concern available are ultrasound pathology by technician, equipped ac. OT with endo urology and laparoscopic gadgets. Although endo surgery facility is arranged by prior fixing, desired skilled personnels. We do have MPMs and foetal monitor

Future Planning

I'm planning to start Endoscopic surgary in the near future and to recruit a few Surgeons.

I feel that we are still growing and there are always room for improvement... In future we plan to run the hospital on no profit, no loss.
